Kat Dennings, born Katherine Victoria Litwack on June 13th 1986 at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania was the first born child of Gerald and Ellen Dennings. Ellen Dennings was her mother as well as a speech therapist while Gerald was her father, and was a professor at the college. Dennings was the youngest of five siblings and was raised by her Jewish mother and father is an accomplished actress. Dennings did not attend a conventional school for long but was instead homeschooled. As she was attempting to pursue acting from a young age so the arrangement of homeschooling made the best sense, as she could complete high school at the age of 14. At the age of nine, she was already acting commercials. Her family relocated to Los Angeles after she graduated high school to allow her to take up acting.
