Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress, known for her roles in film, such as 'Quantum of Solace', "The Disappearance of Alice Creed', and 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters'. Her birthplace was Gravesend within Greater London. Her career began after she completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance was in a comedic show called "St. Trinian's". In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace, which was released shortly afterwards, she played an in-character role. The film had a great success commercially, but it received moderate critiques. She was the main character in the action-fantasy film, 'Prince of Persia The Sands of Time" was her subsequent. Recently, she acted in an additional role in"Orphan," the French production "Orphan". Arterton has been nominated for various awards during her entire career one of which was she was awarded the Empire Award for Best Newcomer in 'Quantum of Solace,' and the "Evening Standards Theatre Award' for her role in the musical "Made in Dagenham'. Arterton also received the Glamour Awards for Women of the Years in 2011.
